Chicken Fingers for Days!

We’ve had a great time working with our new client Zaxby’s these last two weeks.  Our studio is going to smell like a fryer for a while but it’s worth it – their chicken fingers are the best!

Food Photography and the World Cup

As we finish up a long two weeks of shooting with Olive Garden, the soccer fans here at the studio are pumped that the 20th World Cup has finally started. While we certainly maintain a strong focus on our shot list, a bit is spared to keep up with the Brazil v. Croatia match. GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

We Got It!!

After being Olive Garden’s photography studio for all their menu, web and promotions for the last 15 years, we were asked to compete against others studios in New York, Chicago, and other major markets to retain their business for years to come. We are proud to announce that we WON their contract and help revitalize their brand through our photography! Thanks, Olive Garden for your continued faith in us, we look forward to our continued partnership. This photo is from their new website.

Mmmmmmm Steak!

Spanish Mackerel

A beautiful Spanish mackerel frozen into a block of ice. The unexpected frozen bubbles added that special touch to the shot. The bubbles to me captured the motion of the mackerel in a still life form.

Salmon and Yellowtail Crudo

A fresh and colorful Spring seafood meal prepared and styled by Bryan Hartness. It tasted as wonderful as it looked.

Tex-Mex Ribeye Breakfast Time Lapse

While setting up for this food test for our portfolio, we had no idea how many great ingredients were involved. As Chef/Stylist Bryan Hartness kept explaining the dish, we knew that this would be a great opportunity to lock down the camera and photograph every step in making this delicious steak. We photographed everything, from getting the raw ribeye straight out of the butcher paper, to the stove top preparation, and then to the building of all cooked ingredients into the pan. We had a blast doing this with Bryan, and look forward to capturing our next fun food test.
